With the Rehoming Project, your wish is now a reality.

The Rehoming Project is a way to lovingly and ethically source crystals and Rehome them with a new crystal owner.

This page is to help crystal owners understand the process to sell their crystals through the Rehoming Project.

The Rehoming Project follows a consignment model. You receive a percentage of the sales price after items sell.

Please make sure that you read and understand this entire page before submitting your crystals. By sending me photos and videos of your crystals, you are agreeing to the terms and policies laid out on this webpage.

Once you are ready, getting started is as easy as 1, 2, 3…

Here is how it works to sell your crystals on consignment:

STEP 1

Send Photos, videos, and a description of up to 15 crystals to hello@courtnayscrystals.com.

Ensure photos include some type of coin, can of soda, or another element that has a consistent size in order to showcase the size of the crystal.
Use bright, natural light to take photos and videos.
For each item, include the crystal type and the approximate price you paid for it.

You will receive an email within 5 business days letting you know which items have been accepted and a mailing address to ship your crystals to.

Step 2

Ship your crystals to me within 3 days of approval.

Only send approved crystals. Unapproved crystals will not be sold or returned.

STEP 3

Courtnay’s Crystals promotes your crystals and sells them online (Instagram, Facebook, and Website).

You receive monthly payments as your crystals sell.

Accepted Crystals:

Medium to Large items.
- This ranges in size from roughly the size of a fist and larger as long as it can fit in a Large USPS Flat Rate shipping box.
  - I’m still figuring out the process to ship huge crystals… this is coming.
- Overall, most crystals that sell around the $15 and up price point are acceptable.

Valuable and Rare crystals are welcome in all sizes.
Items in “new” condition.
Crystals that you have energetically released and cleared.

These Crystals Are Not Accepted At This Time:

Most small crystals and tumbles. (Exceptions include rare and valuable crystals.)
Extra Large Crystals
- Anything that is too large to fit in a Large USPS Flat Rate Box.

Crystals with chips, cracks, damage, or repairs of any kind.
- If any damaged crystals are sent, they will not be sold or returned to you.
These crystal types:
- Moldavite, Turquoise, Salt
- Most Man made or treated items including:
  - Baked Amethyst (Often Sold as Citrine), Goldstone, Bluestone, Orgonite, Smelted Quartz

Getting Paid

You will be issued 50% of the selling price through Paypal.
- You may incur fee from PayPal depending on how it is set up on your end (usually around 3%). Expect to receive 50% of the sale minus a PayPal fee.
Payments are issued once a month between the 1st and 7th day of each month.
Any items that are on consignment after 90 days may be applicable to markdowns.
- A Google Spreadsheet will be shared with you and updated with selling prices and the dates that items sell to ensure transparency.
- Expect markdowns every 90 days until your item(s) is/are sold.
If there are any unsold items remaining after six months, Courtnay’s Crystals will reach out to you and together we will discuss next steps.
- It may take longer to sell larger, more expensive pieces and we can work together to ensure a smooth process.

Shipping Details

You are responsible for paying for shipping, packaging, insurance costs to ship the crystals to me.
- Courtnay’s Crystals is not responsible for any damages incurred during shipping.
It is highly recommend you use USPS flat rate boxes for shipping and add insurance for the entire value of your shipment.
- Use boxes not padded envelops and A LOT of bubble wrap to secure your crystals when packing. Use some kind of filler (bubble wrap, crinkle paper, newspapers, etc) to fill all empty space in your box. In order to be eco-friendly as possible, packaging materials will be reused.
- USPS Flat Rate boxes include $50 of insurance. Add more to cover the entire value that you are shipping. The few extra dollars are worth your peace of mind. Courtnay’s Crystals is not responsible for any damages that occur in shipping.
