This cavernous structure was built with the main ritual chamber deep inside. From December 19–23, the Winter Solstice, light seeps into this chamber fully illuminating it around 9 am each day. Otherwise, this monument remains completely dark inside due to the advanced engineering it took to build this ancient structure.
It is a reminder that in the darkness, we can find illumination. During the day, all opportunities look bright and promising.
